Making a difference was on the agenda at the Travelocity Partner Conference in Phoenix. That’s because we were able to lend a helping hand at homeless shelters during Travelocity's "Travel For Good" volunteer day.
Over 170 conference attendees from throughout the travel industry visited two different Phoenix homeless shelters, spending six hours working on rebuilding projects with UMOM, a not-for-profit agency that provides homeless and low-income families with food, shelter and tools to build a bridge to self-sufficiency.
Our volunteer teams did painting at both locations, along with preparation of a new facility.
