Bonding with Our Friends in Dallas

Marriott's Spirit of Aloha Tour team

One of the goals of our Spirit of Aloha Tour is to re-connect with customers and partners on the U.S. mainland. Friday night in Dallas, we were fortunate to have more than a dozen friends stop by for a reception at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel.

Dan Banchiu (center), general manager of JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, welcomed Hari Nair of Expedia and Tim Sullivan, general manager of Renaissance Dallas Hotel.

Carol Girouard of Pinnacle and Brian Soma, director of sales and marketing for JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa

Noreen Henry (left), senior vice president of partner marketing for Travelocity, and her husband Ray with dancer Farwyn Sakulsinghdusit of Polynesian Cultural Center.

To coincide with our reception, the Renaissance Dallas Hotel turned their lobby bar into "Hawaii Night," with touches of island-inspired decor and tropical drinks. To add to the ambience, the Polynesian Cultural Center enterainers performed for hotel guests.

Mahalo to all of our Dallas friends for joining us! And thanks to the Tim Sullivan, Miriam Lucas and the associates at the beautiful Renaissance Dallas Hotel for their hospitality and for hosting our tour team!

Travelocity and Expedia witness Maui luxury hotels' hula charms

One of the Marriott's favorite occasions is the chance to share the pleasures of Maui luxury hotels with the main land locals. Their team recently paid a visit to the Renaissance Dallas Hotel to show them a slice of life at an ocean resort hotel Waikiki. The team hosted a reception complete with island themes and island cocktails. The Polynesian Cultural Center even performed for the guests, teaching the steps to the hula. It was a great opportunity to share the pleasures of an Oahu hotel as well as demonstrate appreciation for customer loyalty to hotels Big island Hawaii offers a life that is not easily matched. Bask in beauty, experience culture and enjoy the world's most pleasurable climate at your next stay at an ocean resort hotel Waikiki.
