It's Aloha Monday in San Antonio

Marriott's Spirit of Aloha Tour team

The Spirit of Aloha Tour is now in San Antonio, visiting with agents at Marriott's call center. They set us up in their break room with island decorations to set the mood and colorful lei for everyone.

Mahalo to General Manager Monica Bookout and Manager Nilay Munoz for giving us such a warm welcome!

Nilay even tried a hula with the Polynesian Cultural Center dancers!

Sandra King and Pamela Allen also got into the action.

And so did Charlotte Sullivan!

We even got a special visit from (front row: l to r) Sherry Laraway, Area Director of Sales, Kellie Smith, General Manager of Courtyard River Walk, Dusty Smith, General Manager of Residence Inn and Danny Pinkerton, Assistant General Manager of Courtyard River Walk (back).

Even Sherry and Kellie got into the hula spirit!

Dan Banchiu, General Manager of JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, with Monica Bookout in front of our Spirit of Aloha Tour bus.

Mahalo to Marriott's San Antonio Call Center for allowing us to visit you! We hope to see you Hawaii soon!

Hawaii hotels bring the aloha spirit of hula to San Antonio

There's nothing like hula dance lessons from the natives to catch the island spirit that a Kauai hotel stay is all about. Best of all, many Hawaii hotels offer one on one lessons with native island hula dancers so you can learn the steps up close. Experience true island culture, right there in the lobby of your Maui hotel. You can also put on your beach shoes and catch a lesson right there on the beach. There's nothing like sunrise or sunset hula dance lessons. Hawaiian sunsets and sunrises provide the perfect dance backdrop for that island free spirit. When it comes to hotels Hawaii brings local culture to you, so you can experience the best of island life up close.
