The 10-week showcase of distinctive three-dimensional glass artwork at the 2nd Annual Maui Art Glass Expo held at the oceanfront Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is coming to a close this Sunday, February 28th. Highlighting the finest living glass artists from the United States and Murano, Italy, the newest creations are unveiled exclusively at this event. This year's Expo features 35 artists and 350 pieces.
Produced by Gary and Emma Koeppel, producers of the renowned Maui Marine Art Expo from 1984 to 1996, the Maui Art Glass Expo is located in the resort's main lobby. A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Featuring a home theater experience whereby visitors can view a collage of videos on the creation of glass art, the Expo is open from 8 - 10 p.m. daily. Admission is free and on-site self-parking is validated.
