The Spirit of Aloha Tour woke up to snow on our last day in Denver!

Since it was Superbowl Sunday, what better place to celebrate in style than at John Elway's restaurant in Cherry Creek, named for the former Denver Broncos quarterback.

Our great Marriott Resorts Hawaii team of (l to r) Elizabeth Linn, Scott Obley and Asha Wignarajah with leader Rodney Ito of Waikoloa Beach Marriott worked hard to plan a great event, starting with creative invitations made by Elizabeth!
We had a crowd of approximately 30 guests, who enjoyed island-style food and drinks and each received a fresh orchid lei.
We even got our guests to pose with SI (Shave ice)!
Even the Elway's staff got into the aloha spirit with aloha shirts, including Cory Treadway!
Right before kickoff, Rodney welcomed everyone!
Some guests even found their way to our bus to watch the game there!
To make the game interesting, we held a fun Superbowl pool with stays at each of Marriott's five oceanfront resorts in Hawaii as the prizes.
At the end of the 1st quarter, JoAnn Harper (center) was the winner of a stay at Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Maui.
At halftime, Kenny Watters (center, holding certificate) won a stay at the newly renovated Kauai Marriott Resort.
At the end of the 3rd quarter, Liz Thompkins (center) won a stay at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa on Oahu.
And at the end of the game, Lisa Wilkinson won a stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Oahu.
But that wasn't the end of the prizes! Rodney Ito had a vacation including airfare to his resort, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Hawaii's Big Island, to give away!
