Marriott Resorts Hawaii Receives Top Marketing Recognition

On Tuesday, April 13th, Marriott Resorts Hawaii was recognized by the American Marketing Association (AMA) Hawaii Chapter as the 33rd Marketer of the Year. Awarded at its annual awards luncheon held at the Hawaii Convention Center, Marriott Resorts Hawaii was singled out for its succssful innovative marketing efforts in 2009 with the Spirit of Aloha Tour in the U.S. and Japan and the "Tweet Yourself to Hawaii" social media campaign.

Award entries were scored according to their insight, objectives, strategies, tactics and results. Hawaii's Governor Linda Lingle and Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann joined the business community in honoring Marriott Resorts Hawaii.

What a Great Deal on a Maui Luxury Hotel

My wife and I like to tease ourselves by pricing airplane tickets to Hawaii at odd times of the year. Then we discovered we could jump on a plane to the Big Island for half as much as usual. That settled it. We had to book a stay in a Maui luxury hotel. Good thing for us they offered great deals on Maui luxury hotels too. Thanks to the great discount, we enjoyed a winter vacation when we needed it the most. Winter doesn't seem so bad in perfect 80 degree weather when your toes are buried in the sand.
