Our resort was buzzing with activity for a few days in August when a television crew visited us to shoot footage for their show, "Hawaii In Style TV." Producer Julie Aragaki and her crew stayed with us as they filmed at our golf course, restaurants, pool, garden and rooms.
The first day started right away, with the tv crew flying in from Honolulu and going straight to Kauai Lagoons Golf Club. They met with PGA Director of Golf Scott Ashworth and Professional Golf Instructor Kendrick Kimizuka, who gave a quick golf lesson. Every week, the golf professionals provide clinics to Kauai Marriott guests.

We even got Director of Golf Scott Ashworth to hit a few balls at the beautiful 8th hole for the camera.
After the golf course, the crew filmed standup paddle boarding with the Kauai Beach Boys, located on our property's beachfront walkway.
We wanted to show the great ocean activities our guests can enjoy with the Kauai Beach Boys at one of the best beaches on Kauai, Kalapaki Beach which fronts our resort.
Of course, food is a highlight of our property and we are fortunate to have a variety of great dining outlets.

The tv crew met with Executive Chef Guy Higa, who showed them his culinary passion in and out of the kitchen. They visited his home to see his backyard garden where he grows herbs, vegetables and fruits he uses in his dishes.
From his home to the Kauai Marriott main kitchen, Chef Guy prepared Kekaha Shrimp on Grilled Rice Cake.
