Today marks the final day of Marriott's 2011 Spirit of Aloha Tour! We had a wonderful visit full of Hawaiian music, hula lessons, lei-making and ukulele lessons with the children and families at Texas Children's in Houston! KHOU-TV Anchor Lucy Noland came to the hospital as well and spent time with us!
Brad Snyder, general manager of Kauai Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach, was interviewed for the evening newscasts. He presented two five-night stays at Kauai Marriott Resort to Texas Children's' Camille Landry, who extended to us a most gracious welcome.
The children had a wonderful time. They enjoyed lei-making...

And some learned to hula with the Polynesian Cultural Center dancers Sina, Erin and Si.
