May Day Celebrations at JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa

Brian, JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa

In Hawaii, it is a tradition to celebrate May 1st with a special Lei Day gathering, when the most fragrant flowers are used to create fresh Hawaiian lei. At JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, our associates shared their spirit of aloha and enjoyed May Day with our guests.

Everyone tasted Hawaii's favorite foods, including pineapple, poi, haupia, Hawaiian salt and onion.

Guests of all ages got into the May Day spirit with ti leaf lei making, Hawaiian tattoos, coconut weaving, coloring, and fabric flower creations. Our Food and Beverage team looked on as well.

What a great day! It's just another reminder of why we are lucky to live in paradise!
