We love summer! Everything from the hot, sunny weather (although who can complain about 70-80 degree weather year-round) to outdoor barbecues, beach and fun in the sun! And for most of us, we always want to look our best! At Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, associate Fuji Murakami teaches visitors and locals how to get fit with Zumba classes at the resort.
Zumba with Fuji to high-energy dances such as the Merengue, Salsa, and Flamenco! You'll dance the hour away to well-known songs including Shakira's Waka Waka and Ricky Martin's Livin' La Vida Loca. And during special "Master Class" sessions such as this, you'll Zumba with guest instructors.
On May 17, Romana Novotna, who was visiting from Prague, Czech Republic, instructed alongside Fuji. This was all part of the resort's fundraising initiatives to raise money for the Hawaii Hotel & Lodging Association's 33rd Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk, which ultimately raised a record of $1.16 million statewide!
