Karina’s final island destination was Oahu. Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Director of Sales and Marketing John Limper met Karina at the resort’s new Fitness Center on January 31st.
Next stop... Hawaii Island. This was Karina’s first visit here and she was amazed to see the vast lava fields and vibrant sunset. At Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on January 27th, Executive Sous Chef Jayson Kanekoa treated her to a sumptuous four-course dinner complete with specialty “Smirnoff” cocktails and his exclusive JA Farms mix. Not to mention, Karina was wowed by Chef’s rendition of the mirror ball dessert!
Karina began her Hawaii trip at Kauai Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach to kick off her DanceFIT-KS Hawaii Tour on January 26th. The reigning pro champion of Dancing with the Stars Season 13 conducted her workout fitness class at Niihau Court overlooking the beautiful Kalapaki Gardens.

Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa ushered in the 2012 Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dragon! This year we were able to share the traditional dragon dance in which it is believed that the loud beats of the drum and deafening sounds of the cymbals together with the face of the dragon or lion dancing aggressively can evict bad or evil spirits.
