The man behind the wheel of our Spirit of Aloha Tour bus was Leon Blue, who drove the team from Phoenix across the South and back to Los Angeles, over 5,500 miles through the day and night and even in snow.
Touted as the ultimate shopping destination, The Grove in Los Angeles is the setting for Marriott's Spirit of Aloha Tour and what better place to be to share the aloha spirit with Southern Californians on this Aloha Friday, the last and final day of our 4-week, 12-city, 5,535-mile Tour.
It was a day of anticipation at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Youngsters at the Child Development Center were excited to see hula dancers and musicians from Polynesian Cultural Center. They were even thrilled that American Idol Finalist Jasmine Trias stopped by to see them all. Everyone received a shell lei and a hula lesson. What a treat for them to sway their hips to the beat of "On the Beach." We think though that they were more interested in shaking the feather ‘uli ‘uli!

On Saturday, the Spirit of Aloha Tour team invited a few clients and their families to visit The Wildlife Experience, an interactive museum in Parker, Colorado. The group met at the JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek, where the Polynesian Cultural Center entertainers performed in the lobby, attracting the attention of guests, big and small.
