Congratulations to Costco Warehouse members who won the Marriott’s Spirit of Aloha Tour Sweepstakes dream Hawaii vacation for two for five nights courtesy of Hawaiian Airlines:
After an amazing Spirit of Aloha Tour through thirteen cities - from San Diego up the West Coast to Seattle, through the Midwest and ending on the East Coast, we all returned home to Hawaii safe and sound. And riding on the crest of the promotional tour, we're fulfilling the wishes of meeting planners by offering a 10 percent rebate in a new Marriott Resorts Hawai‘i Meeting Incentive Package.

Early on in our planning meetings for the Spirit of Aloha Tour, we knew that one of the best ways to bring Hawaii to the mainland was through the charming allure of Hawaiian song and dance - beautiful and enchanting Hawaiian melodies with live musicians paired with traditional hula dancers' swaying hips and graceful hand movements. It's all to tell the story of Hawaii one mele (song) at a time. To do this, we partnered with the talented Polynesian Cultural Center entertainers who shared the gift of hula and aloha with everyone along the way. Adorned in beautiful aloha attire, vibrant lei and smiles from ear to ear you couldn't help but feel the warmth of the islands, even when it was a chilly 25 degrees! And day after day they performed their hearts out during live television broadcasts, agency visits, impromptu requests and even photo shoots in Times Square... from the look on their faces you can't even tell it was freezing cold! Mahalo nui loa, Polynesian Cultural Center! Hana hou!

He has been hugged and kissed, battled the wind and snow (kept from melting mind you), toured the U.S. on our Spirit of Aloha tour bus, made friends with those who are fond of the islands, and reignited cherished memories of what folks love most about Hawaii. He's the one, the only, SI (Shave Ice)! Here are the top ten Shave Ice sightings on our 45-day aloha tour!

Team Marriott ascended upon the offices of ASAE and The Center for Association Leadership. ASAE and The Center for Association Leadership held their 2003 annual meeting in Hawaii and the team expressed their wishes to have them come back in 2013. Their annual meeting represents thousands of room nights to Hawaii.

It was a chilly 26 degrees this morning in Washington, D.C, and here we are in the Fox 5 Morning News studio with Meteorologist Tony Perkins who interviewed Camile Velasco, Marriott's Spirit of Aloha Tour Ambassador of Aloha and American Idol Season Three Finalist, and City of Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann. Together, they chatted about Hawaii as a value destination and that there's no better time to come to the islands than right now!

Tuesday night the Washington, DC Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) held their annual Bowl-A-Thon charity event in Bethesda. There were more than 300 customers and suppliers at the largest networking event of the year for the Chapter.

SI (Shave Ice) ventured into the hallowed halls of Marriott International Worldwide Headquarters located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Here we are at Marriott International Worldwide Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland! The Hawaii state flag has been raised and is flying high amidst clear blue skies.

We arrived in Washington, DC, our last city on this 45-day Spirit of Aloha tour. Our media appearance today began at 8:45 a.m. EST at CBS affiliate WUSA.
