今日はツアー最終日。日頃お世話になっている旅行会社のJTB、HIS、近畿日本ツーリスト、そしてR＆CをKONISHIKIさんとポリネシアカルチャーセンターのエンターテイナーらが訪れました。KONISHIKIさんがスピーチをした他、本場フラダンスを披露すると、会場からは歓声がわきあがりました。

Today Marriott Resorts Hawaii hunkered down to doing business with the various Japanese tour wholesalers here in Japan. We visited JTB, HIS, Kintetsu and R&C all in one day with speeches by Konishiki, Ed Hubennette, Mayor Hannemann (Honolulu)  Mayor Kenoi (Big Island) and a great performance by Polynesian Cultural Center. Here are some highlights:

スピリット・オブ・アロハツアーに地元のフラ教室の先生やその生徒さん達もイベントに参加していただき、１人でも多くの方にハワイをより身近に感じてもらえたらとご協力いただきました。

それぞれクラスによって、いろいろなフラのスタイルがあり、パレードを見ていた観客も存分に楽しめたかと思います。驚くことに、日本のフラ人口はなんと50万人を超えるということです。（ハワイのフラ人口よりもかなり多いです。）

今日、スピリット・オブ・アロハツアーの最後のイベントをイオン・レイクタウン・ショッピングセンターで行いました。

台風が関東に接近していますが、雨天の中、たくさんの方にお集まりいただきました。

Today was our last consumer event on the Spirit of Aloha Japan Tour, and we made the most of it at Japan's largest shopping mall - AEON LakeTown Mall.

テレ玉の「ごごたま」にKONISHIKIがスペシャルゲストとして生出演！スピリット・オブ・アロハ・ジャパン・ツアーと明日のAEONレークタウンでのイベントについてPRをしました。皆さんも見に来てくださいね！

Konishiki went live on the afternoon news talk show "Gogo-tama" to talk about the Spirit of Aloha tour and promote our event tomorrow at AEON Laketown mall - Japan's largest shopping center. Farwyn and Kara from Polynesian Cultural Center were there to lend a "shaka".

プランタン銀座前のイベントの様子です。KONISHIKIが出演する直前まではちょっと雨が降って心配でしたが、ステージに上がるとすぐにやみました。さすがKONISHIKIです！

今日は大阪の郊外にあるArio八尾ショッピングセンターに訪ねて、KONISHIKIさんがステージでパフォーマンスしたのですが、もうすごい人です！さすがKONISHIKIのファンが山ほどいます。

We are in Osaka today and made the rounds to a new shopping mall in the suburbs called "Ario Yao". An amazing crowd gathered to see Konishiki in person. We had to fight everyone back when giving out our 'eco-bags' filled with goodies.

毎日放送の「ありがとう浜村淳です」KONISHIKIのインタビュー風景。ピリネシアカルチャーセンターの生演奏もハイライトの一つ。

Konishiki made an appearance on the popular Kansai region radio show "Arigato Hamamura Jun Desu" this morning, and Polynesian Cultural Center entertainers did a number live on the air.

Konishiki knows how to work a crowd - his singing is infectious. We had an even bigger crowd than yesterday at the Nagoya Festival.

さすがに名古屋市民のハワイ意識がすごいです！名古屋祭りのパレードでSHAKAの挨拶をたくさんいただいて驚きました。

The people of Nagoya greeted us with shaka signs all the way down the parade route again today at the Nagoya Festival. We all had so much fun saying hi to everyone that the parade went by in a flash!
