It is hard to imagine a more beautiful playground than Kauai. Discover championship golf courses; white-sand beaches; deep sea fishing and freshwater kayaking; horseback riding and hiking trails designed by the gods. All within easy reach from your resort.

  • Kauai activitiesGolf anywhere – Each of the island’s seven courses offer challenges for every handicapper and views that will make you wish you’d packed your camera in your bag.
  • Hike Waimea Canyon – The “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” is the stuff hikers dream about. Ten miles long, 3,600-feet deep and stunning.
  • Paddle the Wailua River – Hawaii’s largest inland waterway is beautiful and mellow. Pack your fishing gear in the canoe and dine on smallmouth bass for dinner.
  • Snorkeling and Scuba Diving – Discover the underwater worlds of the island’s southern shores. The waters are calm and clear, and the visibility is amazing.
  • Learn to Windsurf – Kauai’s consistent trade winds provide ideal windsurfing conditions. Try Anini Beach Park, Kalapaki Beach and Poipu Beach. More advanced? Haena Beach on the north shore is ideal.
  • Horseback Riding – Really, you must do it at least once. There are breathtaking trails along the coast and in the valleys. Hanalei Valley, Haupu Valley and Waimea Canyon will make you forget that you’re sore.
  • See the Na Pali Coast – A photographer’s dream, it features majestic cliffs, sea caves and other natural wonders. Best seen by hiking or boating.
  • Visit Old Kapaa Town – For a more relaxing adventure, stroll the streets of this quaint 19th century plantation town. Discover charming shops selling local wares, and outstanding restaurants.
