HONOLULU, Hawaii – March 30, 2008 – Marriott Resorts Hawaii is saddened to see Aloha Airline’s long history and commitment to serving the Hawaiian Islands come to an end. The company expresses its sympathies to Aloha’s employees and their families.
In light of the announcement that the airline has shut down operation of its passenger service, the nine Marriott Resorts Hawaii lodging properties (five hotels and four Marriott Vacation Clubs) are extending a helping hand to Aloha Airlines ticket holders who may have to stay beyond their check out date; and to in-bound customers who may have to postpone their stay due to their inability to find a flight.
Marriott Resorts Hawaii comprises nine lodging properties. They are JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club, Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, and four Marriott Vacation Clubs: Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club, Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club, Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club, and Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club.
