Only 10 Days Left to Win Hawaiian Trip for 12 in Marriott Resorts Hawaii's Why I Love Hawaii Video Contest

Video Entries Accepted till December 20th at www.marriotthawaiitweets.com and will be judged by celebrities Carrie Ann Inaba, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Kristi Yamaguchi!

 

Honolulu – December 9, 2009 –  How many reasons do you need to win a free trip for 12 people to Hawaii? Marriott Resorts Hawaii is counting down the last 10 days of its “Why I Love Hawaii” video contest with Top 10 Reasons to Enter.

  • 10. Play golf at President Obama’s favorite course on Oahu.
  • 9. With 12 people, you can form a very respectable conga line.
  • 8. You won’t have to bring any gifts back to your family and friends (they can do
  • their own shopping when they get here).
  • 7. Eleven people can take a hula lesson while one gets photos to blackmail them with later.
  • 6. With 12 people, there’s an excellent chance someone will remember the sunblock.
  • 5. At least 11 of your Facebook friends won’t hate you for winning.
  • 4. Instead of making anyone jealous, bring everyone you know.
  • 3. With 12 of you, figuring out how to pronounce street names won’t be as hard.
  • 2. You’ll have at least 11 witnesses to your attempt to surf the North Shore winter swells.
  • 1. It’s a free trip for 12. Did you catch the “free” part?

The video contest is asking Hawaii residents and non residents alike to submit a video that best showcases why they love Hawaii and why they deserve this amazing trip. Entrants will have to upload their video to YouTube and submit their video link to www.marriotthawaiitweets.com by December 20, 2009. The video must be under three minutes in length and cannot contain any copyrighted materials not belonging to the contestant. For terms and conditions, visit www.marriotthawaiitweets.com.

Following the December 20th deadline, all qualified videos will be reviewed by a panel of celebrity judges – Carrie Ann Inaba, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Kristi Yamaguchi – who will vote on their favorites. Based on the judges’ scores, Marriott Resorts Hawaii will post the finalists to its web site – www.marriotthawaiitweets.com – in January 2010. The public will then be given five days to vote for their favorite. The highest vote-getter will win the free Hawaiian trip for them and 11 friends/family members, including seven nights at up to two participating Marriott resorts in Hawaii of their choice and roundtrip airfare courtesy of Hawaiian Airlines.
