Certified Wedding Specialist Bree Deverill Joins Kauai Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach as Events Manager

Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii – May 5, 2011 – Bree Deverill has been appointed to events manager of the recently transformed Kauai Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach (www.kauaimarriott.com). As a Marriott International certified wedding event planner, Deverill has been designated to be the romance expert in creating signature events, from proposals to weddings and civil union ceremonies at the oceanfront resort.

"In this newly created position, we are pleased to have Bree lead the resort's events and romance team in creating cherished memories for visiting and kama'aina (local) couples alike," said Brad Snyder, area general manager of Kauai Marriott Resort. "We anticipate that her attention to detail and background in event management and planning will lead to her continued success."

Deverill served in the hospitality industry for more than eight years with wedding experience in various locations including Kauai; Phuket, Thailand; and Whitsundays Islands, Australia.

Deverill was raised in Singapore. She and her husband Jake reside on Kauai with their two dogs Marley and Otis.
