WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 17, 2007 – Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) has named
Kevin Aucello as vice president of development for the Hawaii region. In this newly created
position, he will be responsible for the strategic development of the Marriott International brand
of hotels and resorts in Hawaii. Marriott International’s portfolio of 11 properties in Hawaii is
represented by JW Marriott, Marriott, Renaissance and Marriott Vacation Club International.
Prior to joining Marriott International, Aucello was a principal in the Honolulu office of CB
Richard Ellis and a director of CBRE’s international hotel practice. He has more than 25 years
of providing a full range of advisory services for companies with equity, debt and leasehold real
estate interests in Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia.
He earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration, Real Estate and masters of arts
degree in Real Estate from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Aucello will be based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
