WAIKOLOA, HAWAII – August 9, 2007 –While lava from Kilauea Volcano

intriguing not only scientists, but also guests at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott
Resort & Spa. As part of their leisure sightseeing activities, several have visited
Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park where Kilauea has been continually erupting
since 1983. For those who are planning a visit to the Big Island, the newly
renovated Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers a great opportunity to
see this natural wonder firsthand.
In marking the completion of the $50 million renovation at the Waikoloa Beach
