LIHUE, KAUAI, Hawaii – March 7, 2008 – Jeffry Poullath has joined the 356-room Kaua’i
Marriott Resort & Beach Club (www.kauaimarriott.com) as director of engineering. Poullath is
responsible for maintaining the resort’s buildings and grounds, and upholding engineering
standards in safety, security and asset protection.
“We are pleased to welcome Jeffry whose expertise will be a great asset to our team,” said Bill
Countryman, general manager of Kaua’i Marriott Resort & Beach Club. “He will take the helm
as we continue to implement our ‘green’ initiatives throughout the resort, including the heating
of our 26,000 square-foot swimming pool with renewable energy. This project is scheduled to
be completed in May 2008 and we are excited to provide this added amenity to our guests.”
Poullath, who has fifteen years of engineering experience with Marriott International, most
recently served as the chief engineer at Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. Prior to that,
he held various managerial engineering positions at Detroit Marriott Livonia, and Courtyard by
Marriott in both Detroit and Troy, Michigan.
Poullath is a native of Michigan. He and his wife Shannon have twin daughters. |
