60 Days of Summer: Week 1

Summer is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! With 12 amazing resorts in Hawaii there’s definitely no shortage of fun things to do when it comes to figuring how to spend those summer vacation days. Whether it’s a fitness activity to keep your heart pumping, a delicious dining experience, or a cultural immersion experience, our resorts have plenty to offer. Follow along with us this summer as we share our 60 Days of Summer Series with you, highlighting – you guessed it – 60 perfect summer activities to keep you busy!

June 16: Friday – Fire Up the Fun, The Westin Ka‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas. Dining demonstration and tasting at Pūlehu, an Italian Grill. Guests sample the dishes and leave with keepsake recipe cards to recreate the deliciousness at home. Cost is $25 per person.

June 17: Saturday – “Malama Honua” Worldwide Voyage. Witness the return of the Hokule‘a sailing canoe as it culminates its three-year voyage with a stop near Waikiki Beach. Catch the views from the Sheraton Waikiki or Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa or head down to Magic Island for the festivities beginning at 7:00am.

June 18: Sunday – Sand Art, The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, 1 p.m. Create your own unique sand art masterpiece. Free.

June 19: Monday – Aha‘aina Luau Show, The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Hawaii and the South Pacific, a glorious buffet dinner, and unobstructed views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. Mondays and Thursdays. Cost varies. June 20: Tuesday – Enjoy the new “Nanea Ritual” at Spa Helani, The Westin Ka‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas. The aromatherapy oil blend is made from fresh flowers off the slopes of Haleakala and Mauna Loa volcanoes. The complete treatment work to uplift and purify, opening the heart to compassion and creativity during a heated Lava Shells massage.

June 21: Wednesday – Beginner’s Hawaiian Language, Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay. 11 a.m. Free.


June 22: Thursday – No Barbell, Just Results: Beachfront CrossFit, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Classes are held every Thursday morning. $20 for The Westin Maui guests and $25 for others.
