Don’t Miss Moana Surfrider’s Edible Christmas Display
Pastry Chef Nanako Perez Nava and two assistants spent 50 hours creating this display.
It includes two five-foot trees covered with 600 sets of macaroons each, dark chocolate animals, sugar gum paste poinsettias, Santa’s chocolate train, all painted over with food lacquer to protect it from humidity.
Chef Nanako is also offering fall themed desserts during this season – includes spiced pumpkin macaroon, chestnut éclair, apple mousse with pistachio tart.
The Veranda’s afternoon tea at the same time is a perfect compliment to Chef Nanako’s sweet treats.
