Snapshots of Hawaii’s Summertime Skies

September 9, 2016

At dawn and dusk each day Hawaiian skies turn into an explosion of colors and there’s certainly no shortage of amazing photos to showcase the amazing sky-scapes.

This week’s top five social pics feature some of our favorite summer sunsets and sunrises.

If there’s anything that complements a colorful sunset, it’s the silhouettes of coconut trees along Maui’s Ka’anapali Beach.

What a great shot of a Westin Maui sunset from @ugnzlz.

We’re used to seeing Diamond Head take commanding attention in photos from Waikiki, but this capture from points the camera in the Ewa direction and perfectly captures a bit of the Waianae coast and a glorious summer sunset view from Sheraton Waikiki.

It’s hard to beat the vibrant orange sunsets of the Big Island’s Kona coast and this shot by @gts_4947 proves just that.

The perfectly placed sailboat makes this taken from photo seem like a dream.

Every so often you see one of those photos that makes you step back and say, “Wow!”

This capture by @billevansphoto is one of those gems. The evening Black Rock Cliff dive Ceremony takes place just in front of Sheraton Maui and this image manages to place us in that precise moment.

There’s something about those palm trees and water-colored skies that make us swoon.

This capture by @angelitocanales from Sheraton Kauai has no shortage of swoon-worthy material.
